The five International Festival of Contemporary Drama for Children and Youth KON-TEKSTY will be held in Poznań (Poland) between 14-17 November 2011. The organizer of the Festival - the Animation Theatre in Poznań - would like to invite companies with performances based on their native contemporary texts. The organizer offers lectures, exhibitions, workshops and discussions concern contemporary art for young audience.
The Festival will give an opportunity to exchange Europeans experiences about nowadays theatre for children and young people.
Our Festival is a competition. Performances are valued by the international jury. (Regulations of the Festival: www.kon-teksty.com.pl). The winners of the competition program will be rewarded with prizes in the categories:
the best performance ( 3 rewards )
the best playwriter
For the participation in the Festival it is necessary to send application and the video or CD of the show till April 30th, 2011. The selection commitee will reach its decision by June 30th, 2011 and inform each candidate of the decision shortly thereafter.
Conditions:
The organizer prefers performances which haven't been presented on the other Polish festivals till now
